VADA/Nova Schooling Shows

Entry Fees:

$30.00 for VADA/Nova members and $40.00 for non-members
Pas de Deux $45/pair

Please note that VADA/Nova member entries will be given priority for the available slots at the schooling shows. Non-members entries will be accepted only if there is space available. If you would like to become a member, please go to the website, www.vadanova.org, or contact membership chairperson, Barb Pickering .

Entries Received Before the Opening Date:

If an entry comes in before the opening date, it will be considered received 3 days after the opening date.

Helmets:

Anyone mounted on a horse must be wearing a protective helmet, no exceptions.

Ride Times:

Will be available on the website www.vadanova.org or from the show secretary the Wednesday prior to the show

Special Awards:

A high score ribbon will be awarded at each VADA/Nova schooling show to the highest scoring ride of the day (excluding USDF Introductory level and all MFS)

Coggins:

Please Note - the name of horse entered must match the name on the Coggins EXACTLY. It is suggested that you put both the registered/official name and the barn name (nickname) of your horse on the Coggins to avoid difficulties when you enter a show.

Arenas:

All tests will be in a standard size arena unless otherwise noted

Volunteer Bucks:

may be used toward entry fees and should be included with your entry

Fees:

Make checks payable to VADA/Nova, Inc.

Other:

1. All dogs must be on a leash,
2. Please provide your own boom box for all musical freestyles,
3. The name of your horse on the Coggins must exactly match the name of the horse on your entry form.
4. If you plan to bring a non-competing horse with you,
   please abide by the rules in our Non-Competing Horse Policy.

** Training Level Musical Freestyle:

The VADA/Nova Training Level MFS is equivalent to the Pony Club 2011 Training Level MFS). These MFS will be allowed at VADA/Nova schooling shows only, not licensed shows.
