New for 2012:
- Starting this year, judges will be allowed to use half points in scoring. As stated in the USEF rulebook (Section DR122):
- If an entry comes in before the opening date, it will be
considered received 3 days after the opening date.
All half marks from 0.5-9.5 may also be used both for movements and collective marks, at the discretion of the judge.
Additional Prize List Notes for 2012:
- $20 grounds fee required for each horse for the March 24 and November 10 schooling shows at Morven Park
- $10 grounds fee required for each horse for the June 16 Schooling Show at Frying Pan Park
- If an entry comes in before the opening date, it will be considered received 3 days after the opening date.
- Reminder—Please check your score before you leave the show grounds. Any scoring errors must be reported before you leave the show grounds. After that time, no corrections can be made. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Please note that Frying Pan Park is open to the public for a wide range of activities and will remain open to the public while the horse show is in progress. For this reason, this may not be a suitable show for a young, nervous, or green horse (June 16 show).
General Notes:
- For a VADA/Nova Training Level Musical Freestyle use the Pony Club 2011 Training Level MFS as your test.
- Please note—the name of the horse entered must match the name on the Coggins EXACTLY. It is suggested that you put both the registered/official name and the nick name on the Coggins to avoid difficulties when entering shows.
- Notice that the entry form now includes our Liability Waiver. Send that in with your entry. We require that the Wiavers for Juniors be signed by a parent or LEGAL GUARDIAN. We cannot accept Wiavers signed by coaches or trainers.
- All Schooling Shows will offer a Para-Equestrian Test Of Choice
Effective March 1, 2011, for dressage:
At our schooling shows, anyone mounted on a horse must wear protective headgear,
with no exceptions.
