Ever wonder what a half-halt is or what you were really supposed to do when trying to give your horse a half-halt? Are you ready to move up a level but your horse isn't balanced enough? Are you interested in learning a way to improve your overall riding position and horse's performance? Would you like to practice riding half-halts in the comfort of your living room?
Join Wendy for an exciting lecture/demonstration/audience participation on half- halts. You will come away with a better understanding of the concept and purpose of a half-halt in simple easy to understand terms. You will also learn the functional biomechanics of the horse when half- halts are ridden correctly and how you can improve your half-halts with a simple 'at home' exercise using biofeedback to ensure proper application your position.
