Photography Policy- New for 2025!

Updated June 1, 2025

We want our members to have access to photographs of their achievements at all levels. We ask that all competitors, friends, and family adhere to this policy as a kindness to each other. We are committed to holding safe, inclusive shows, and look forward to seeing everyone come down centerline.

Based on competitor requests, VADA/Nova will have an Official Show Photographer at each licensed show. The Official Show Photographer (OP) will have access to photograph inside the show arenas. They will be able to market to all competitors ahead of time and during the show, as contracted with VADA/Nova. Only the Official Show Photographer will be able to sell competitor photographs.

Visitors, spectators, competitors and their teams are permitted to take photographs and record video using smart phones or tablets for personal use (non-commercial) use only.

Guest Photographers include anyone wishing to utilize photography equipment, including, but not limited to, cameras with lenses longer than 4 inches, tripods, monopods, or any video camera mounted on a tripod or other stabilizing devices must notify the Show Manager ahead of the show. Please email volunteers@vadanova.email to identify which competitor(s) you will be photographing. A Guest Photographer (GP) identification pass will be provided and must be displayed. A Guest Photographer may include a professional photographer who has been hired by a competitor,
